Security & your data

Your marketplace data, kept private and under your control.

When you connect Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon to one screen, you are trusting one place with sensitive seller data. Here is exactly how managemate keeps that data private, who can see it, and the controls you have over it.

To bring your orders, stock, returns and payments into one screen, managemate has to hold a connection to each of your marketplace seller accounts. That is real trust, and we treat it that way. The tokens that let managemate read from Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon are encrypted before they are stored, and they are never written into logs. They sit on your workspace's connection record and nowhere else.

Each workspace is kept separate. Your orders, products, wallet ledger and team belong only to your workspace, and every request is scoped to it before any data is read. Sign-in is built to fail closed: passwords are stored as one-way hashes, the session token issued to your team is checked on every request, and access can be cut off the moment you remove someone or change what they can do.

We also keep the blast radius small by design. By default, the marketplace connection reads from your seller panels rather than writing back, so a sync brings updates in without quietly changing your listings. When you do push a catalog edit out, that is a deliberate action you take, not something that happens on its own.

What you get

Built into security & your data

Encrypted marketplace credentials

The per-seller tokens that connect your Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon accounts are encrypted before they are stored and are never logged. Even inside the database they are not readable as plain text.

Separated workspaces

Your workspace holds only your data. Orders, stock, the wallet ledger and your team are scoped to your workspace on every request, so one seller's data is never mixed with another's.

Role-based access for your team

Built-in Admin, Inventory Manager and Pick and Packer roles decide what each person sees and does, with per-person overrides when someone needs a little more or less. A packer never needs to see your wallet.

Sessions you can revoke

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and each team member's session is checked against the live permissions on every request. Remove someone or change their role and the change takes effect immediately.

Read-first marketplace sync

By default the connection pulls updates in from your seller panels rather than writing back. Pushing a catalog change out is something you choose to do, so a sync won't silently alter your listings.

An auditable wallet ledger

Every rupee added to or deducted from your prepaid wallet is one line you can read and reconcile against the order it relates to. Nothing about your balance is hidden or aggregated away.

How it works

From setup to everyday use

  1. 01

    You connect each marketplace once

When you link a Meesho, Flipkart or Amazon seller account, the access token is encrypted and stored against your workspace. From then on managemate uses it to read your data, and you can disconnect it whenever you want.

  2. 02

Every request is scoped and checked

Each time someone in your team opens a screen or runs an action, the request is tied to your workspace and matched against that person's role and permissions before any data is returned.

  3. 03

    You control who sees what

Assign a built-in role or set per-person overrides for any team member. Changes apply on the next request, so adjusting or removing access does not wait for a session to expire.

Where it helps

In the day-to-day

For a shop owner handing off daily packing

Give your packing staff the Pick and Packer role so they can see and ship orders without ever reaching your wallet, payments or platform connections. The marketplace credentials and your INR balance stay with the people who should hold them.

For an ops lead managing the catalog across three marketplaces

Use the Inventory Manager role to let your ops person edit products and adjust stock while keeping billing and team management off their screen. The read-first sync means their day-to-day work pulls marketplace updates in without risk of an accidental write back to a listing.

For an admin reconciling spend

Because every wallet credit and debit is a single ledger line tied to an order, you can check exactly what was charged and why, line by line, without trusting a summary number.

Questions

Security & your data, answered

Where are my Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon login details kept?

managemate stores an access token for each connected seller account, not your marketplace passwords. Those tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are never written into logs. You can disconnect a marketplace at any time.

Can another seller on managemate see my data?

No. Each workspace is kept separate and every request is scoped to your workspace before data is read, so your orders, stock, wallet and team are only ever visible inside your own workspace.

How do I stop a team member from seeing sensitive things like the wallet?

Assign a role that excludes it, such as Pick and Packer, or set a per-person override. Permissions are checked on every request, so the moment you change or remove access it takes effect.

If I remove someone from the team, can they still get in?

No. Access is checked against the live account and its permissions on each request, and sessions can be revoked, so a removed or deactivated team member loses access right away.

Does connecting a marketplace mean managemate can change my listings without asking?

By default the connection reads from your seller panels. Pushing a catalog edit out to a marketplace is a deliberate action you take, not something a sync does on its own.

How do I know exactly what I was charged?

Every wallet credit and debit is a single line in your ledger, which you can read and reconcile against the order it relates to. There are no bundled or hidden charges to untangle.
