Getting started

This page gets you from a brand new managemate workspace to managing your first orders.

What managemate is

managemate is a single workspace for retailers who sell on more than one marketplace. Instead of logging into separate seller panels for Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon, you and your team work from one screen that holds your orders, stock, returns and payments together.

Billing is usage-based. You keep a prepaid balance in rupees, and a small fee comes out of it each time an order goes through. There is no monthly subscription and no per-seat charge.

Who it is for

managemate suits sellers who have outgrown a single marketplace and now juggle a few of them at once. If you have a small team where one person packs orders, another keeps stock straight, and an owner watches the numbers, the role system was built for exactly that shape of business.

If you sell on only one platform and never plan to add another, you may not need managemate yet. The product earns its place when work is spread across panels.

What you need before you start

  • A workspace, which the managemate team creates for you. You do not sign up yourself.
  • The invite email we send to your admin address. It contains the link to set your password.
  • Seller access to the marketplaces you want to connect, so you can authorize them later.
  • A UPI app on your phone to load your INR wallet when you are ready to process orders.

First steps

  1. Open the invite email titled Your managemate account for <your business> and select Set your password.
  2. Choose a password and sign in. You land in your workspace as the admin.
  3. Add the people who will work with you and give each one a role. The team guide walks through this.
  4. Load your INR wallet over UPI so order fees can be charged. The wallet guide covers the top-up flow.
  5. Connect your marketplaces so orders, stock and returns start flowing in.

What success looks like

You are done with setup when you can sign in, see your team listed with the right roles, and your wallet shows a balance greater than zero. From there, orders from your connected platforms appear in one list and your team can start working them.

If something looks off

If the invite link says it has expired, the token is only valid for seven days. Write to your managemate contact and we will send a fresh invite.

If you signed in but the workspace looks empty, your marketplaces are probably not connected yet. That is the next step, not a bug.
