UPI top-ups via Razorpay
Add money to your managemate wallet over UPI.
Your managemate wallet pays the per-order fee across Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon. UPI top-ups through Razorpay are how you keep that balance loaded, from a phone, in rupees, with no card on file.
managemate bills you a small fee per successful order, deducted from a prepaid INR wallet. UPI top-ups through Razorpay are how that wallet gets funded. You enter an amount in rupees, Razorpay opens with the amount already filled in, and you approve the payment in your UPI app. The credit appears in your wallet once Razorpay confirms the payment went through.
Because top-ups are over UPI, there is nothing to set up beyond a UPI app on your phone. No card is kept on file, there is no subscription charge, and you are not signing up for a recurring debit. You add money when you choose to, in the amount you choose, and that balance covers orders across Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon from the same place.
Every top-up becomes a single credit line in your wallet ledger, with the balance after it shown alongside. So the money you load and the fees that draw it down stay in one running list you can read top to bottom.
Built into upi top-ups via razorpay
Pay in rupees, over UPI
Enter the amount you want to load in INR and pay through Razorpay with any UPI app. The amount is carried through to the payment step, so there is nothing to re-type.
No card on file, no recurring debit
A top-up is a one-off UPI payment you initiate. managemate keeps no card, sets up no auto-pay, and sends no monthly invoice. You load what you want, when you want.
Credit confirmed by Razorpay, then applied
The wallet is credited once Razorpay confirms the payment was captured, not the instant you tap pay. This keeps your balance accurate rather than provisional.
Protected against double credit
Each confirmed payment credits your wallet exactly once. If the same payment is reported twice, it will not be added twice, so a top-up cannot inflate your balance by accident.
Every top-up lands in the ledger
Each UPI top-up is recorded as one credit line in your wallet ledger, with the balance after it, so you can trace every rupee you have added.
Controlled by team permission
Loading funds is a separate permission from viewing the wallet. Admins can top up by default, and you can grant or withhold it per person across your team.
From setup to everyday use
- 01
Enter an amount in rupees
Open the wallet area of your workspace, choose to add funds, and type the amount you want to load, for example 2,000.
- 02
Approve the payment in your UPI app
Razorpay opens with your amount already filled in. Pay with your UPI app and approve the request on your phone.
- 03
Razorpay confirms the payment
managemate waits for Razorpay to confirm the payment was captured. The credit is applied on that confirmation, not the moment you tap pay.
- 04
Balance and ledger update
Your wallet balance rises by the amount you loaded and a matching credit line appears at the top of your ledger, ready to cover order fees.
In the day-to-day
For a seller heading into a sale period
Before a festive rush across Meesho and Flipkart, load a larger amount over UPI in one go so the per-order fee never blocks processing when order volume climbs.
For keeping the balance topped up
When your wallet is running low, add funds from your phone in a minute so order processing across all three marketplaces keeps running without interruption.
For a finance person who controls spend
Hold the load-funds permission with one or two people, let the rest of the team view the balance, and add money in measured amounts rather than handing over a card.
UPI top-ups via Razorpay, answered
How long does a top-up take to show in my wallet?
The credit is applied when Razorpay confirms the payment, so there can be a short delay rather than it being instant. If your balance has not moved after a minute, refresh and check your ledger before paying again so you do not pay twice.
Do I need a card or a Razorpay account?
No. You pay over UPI from your phone, and managemate keeps no card on file. You only need a UPI app to approve the top-up.
Is this a subscription or auto-debit?
No. Each top-up is a one-off payment you start yourself. There is no recurring charge, no per-seat fee, and no card stored for automatic billing.
What happens to the money after I load it?
It sits in your prepaid INR wallet. managemate deducts a small fee from that balance for each successful order across Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon.
Who on my team can add funds?
Loading funds is permission-controlled and separate from viewing the wallet. Admins can do it by default, and you can grant or withhold the permission for any team member.
Could a top-up ever be credited twice?
No. Each confirmed payment credits your wallet exactly once. If the same payment is reported more than once, it is not added again.
