For clothing and apparel brands

Every size and colour, tagged, sold and counted by barcode

Create a style once with its sizes and colours, print barcode tags, bill at the counter with GST and see stock in every store and the warehouse.

60 days free for up to 5 users, no card required. Then ₹299 per user per month.

managemate helps clothing and apparel brands track every style by size and colour, print barcode tags, bill customers with GST and move stock between stores and a warehouse, in one web app. Each variant has its own SKU, barcode, price and stock, so a medium blue kurta is never confused with a large one.

Counter sales in your own stores and wholesale orders to other retailers draw on the same stock. Purchase orders to garment or fabric suppliers are received by scanning, and the reorder list shows which sizes are running low before they sell out.

What gets in the way today

Sizes tracked in a register

One style in five sizes and four colours is twenty items. In a register or spreadsheet, the counts drift within weeks.

Slow billing on busy days

Typing style codes and sizes by hand slows the queue on festival weekends and puts the wrong size on the bill.

Stock spread across stores

A customer wants a size this store does not have, and nobody knows whether the warehouse or the other store has it without a phone call.

Reordering from memory

Popular sizes sell out while slow ones pile up, because reorders are based on what someone remembers rather than on stock.

How a day runs

Your work, step by step

  1. 01

    Add the new range

Create the style once, add sizes and colours as options and let managemate build each variant's SKU. Generate in-store barcodes for every variant in one step, or import the range from Excel.

  2. 02

    Receive and tag

Receive the supplier's cartons against the purchase order by scanning, then print 50×25 mm or 38×25 mm barcode labels for the tags.

  3. 03

    Send stock to the stores

Transfer stock from the warehouse to each store. Each store's device works in its own location, so the counter sells from the right stock.

  4. 04

    Sell at the counter

Scan the tag, take UPI, cash or card, and print an 80 mm receipt or send it on WhatsApp. Returns go back into stock against the original invoice.

  5. 05

    Close the day and reorder

Day end totals each payment method. The reorder list shows sizes below their reorder level and drafts the purchase order.

Questions

Clothing brands, answered

Can I manage sizes and colours for each style?

Yes. Add up to three options to a style, such as size, colour and fit, and managemate creates each combination as a variant with its own SKU, barcode, prices, reorder level, photos and stock, up to 100 per style. Category, GST rate, HSN code and usual supplier are shared across the style, so you set them once.

Can I print barcode tags for garments?

Yes. Generate in-store EAN-13 barcodes for every variant at once, then print labels with the name, price and barcode on 50×25 mm or 38×25 mm label rolls, or on A4 sheets of 24. Labels print through the browser's print dialog on any label printer with its driver installed, such as the TSC TE244.

Can I see stock across my stores and warehouse?

Yes. Each store and warehouse is a location with its own stock, and transfers move stock between them. Choose All locations in the top bar to see the whole business, or one location to see only that store's stock, sales and reorders. Each counter sells from the location its device is set to.

Can I sell wholesale as well as in my own stores?

Yes. Counter sales and sales orders use the same stock. Wholesale customers get sales orders with their own addresses and payment terms, part deliveries with a delivery challan and a GST invoice, while walk-in customers are billed at the counter. The dashboard and reports show both together.

How do customer returns work?

A user with sales access records the return against the original invoice. The garment goes back into stock at its location, and a numbered credit note reduces what the customer owes; if they had already paid, the refund is recorded on the same invoice. There is no separate exchange screen, so record an exchange as a return and a new sale.

Can I import my existing range with sizes?

Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file with one row per variant, a parent SKU column and the options written as Size: M, Colour: Red. managemate groups the rows into styles with variants and checks every row before saving. Opening stock for each store or warehouse can be imported in a separate file.
