Returns and refunds in three steps, with GST credit and debit notes
Customer returns and returns to suppliers now have their own page and a guided three-step flow. Damaged goods are written off on the spot, the money is refunded or adjusted while you record the return, and every return gets a GST credit note or debit note to print.
- Selling
A Returns page for every return
Find every customer return and return to supplier in one list, searched by note, invoice, customer or product, with tabs for refunds still due and goods that came back damaged. See the value returned in the last 30 days, your return rate, and why things come back.
- Selling
Record a return in three steps
Find the bill by number, customer, phone or product, or scan the barcode on a counter receipt. Count what came back with plus and minus or a scan, pick a reason, and see the credit with its GST before you save.
- Stock
Back on the shelf or written off
Mark each returned item Back on shelf to sell it again, or Write off if it is broken, opened or expired. Written-off goods leave stock in the same step on a numbered write-off note.
- Money
Refund, adjust or refund later
The credit first clears anything still owed on the bill. Refund the rest by cash, UPI, bank transfer, card or cheque, set it against another unpaid invoice of the same customer, or leave it as a refund due.
- Printing
GST credit notes and debit notes to print
Customer returns print as an A4 credit note and returns to suppliers as a debit note, with both GSTINs, the original invoice or bill, HSN codes, taxable value and the CGST, SGST or IGST split. Debit notes have their own DN- series in Settings.
- Setup
Key figures inside the list tabs
List pages such as Invoices, Bills and Inventory now show their key amounts inside the tabs, like Unpaid with what is owed, and the table fills the window so its paging stays in view while you scroll the rows.
